Currently leading as the Founder and Senior Software Engineer at Mindcaptain Services OÜ, I have carved out a dynamic career in the field of software development. My present role involves architecting, developing, and overseeing the maintenance of an intricate Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) software that spans over a million lines of code. My work is further amplified through the development and maintenance of a performant REST API and an Angular frontend, creating a holistic system. A crucial part of my role is the mentorship and technical guidance of budding Software Engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Prior to founding Mindcaptain, my professional journey was enriched with experiences at leading tech corporations like Capgemini GmbH and dSPACE GmbH. At Capgemini, I held a pivotal role in Requirements Engineering within a complex tech environment and managed the software development life cycle in its entirety. My contributions extended to the development and upkeep of mission-critical software applications using Java EE, Oracle WebLogic Application Server, and Oracle Database, optimizing business processes.

In my tenure at dSPACE, I specialized in developing and maintaining a sophisticated analysis system for source code evaluation and build results, employing the power of C#. Additionally, I engineered numerous web APIs, leveraging REST and OData protocols, which provided efficient access to analysis results and internal databases.

My professional foray began at Diebold Nixdorf GmbH, where I was instrumental in crafting a retail web application for an international conference. The application, developed using Go, React, and Redux, incorporated micro-transaction capabilities for enhanced customer experience.

Academically, I am an alumnus of the University of Paderborn, Germany, with both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science. My Master’s thesis delved into Anomaly Detection in Autonomous Systems, while my Bachelor’s research revolved around Adaptive Routing Algorithms in Cyber-physical Production Systems.
